"1000% coming back! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a young gentleman who set the tone with such warm and attentive service. You can tell they care about the experience. Now let’s talk about the FOOD. The Mole Oaxaqueño was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Deep, rich, perfectly balanced, the kind of mole that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. You can taste the tradition in every spoonful. I literally told my wife “this is the type of food that makes you smile” They absolutely deserve the two Michelin stars they’ve earned. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it feels like you’re transported to a cozy little corner of Mexico. Authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for real mole, this is it. Run, don’t walk."
"So delicious I forgot to take a before photo. They brought out chips with 4 of the moles to taste. I got the enmoladas with two types of mole and they came with beans and rice. The service was also amazing! Very kind and explained everything. Will definitely be coming back :)"
"Mexican food in general is inexpensive. It should be. It’s simple, ingredients are simple to find, food is simple, but there is an exception and that is mole. Mole is an incredible blend of amazing spices, nuts, and herbs. Not so easy to find, not so simple to make. One Mole is difficult to make. La Diosa de los Moles has a variety of moles. Mild, medium, spicy, smoky and they are all fantastic. The bed is rice and thinly cut vegetables, topped with a protein or a Chile relleno topped with any variety of moles you want. Delectable. This place is a must in Southern California. About 10 miles from downtown. Everything else was incredible. The albóndigas. The sopes. The carne en su jugo, which I don’t recommend, you need to try the moles, and because at some point in your life you need to go to Guadalajara and have carne en su jugo! Those are some of the dishes you need to travel to its origin to savor."
"Amazing service, food, location! New favorite restaurant!"
"Came by around 4 p.m. on a Monday: nice and quiet at first, but a few parties showed up by the time I left. The staff? Super friendly… and okay, my server was adorably cute and really polite. I was low-key mesmerized by her smile. She made the whole experience even better. Food came out crazy fast, like 5–7 minutes tops. I ordered the enmoladas (mole enchiladas stuffed with cheese or chicken). The cute server was super chill and let me mix and match moles, definitely major bonus points. I tried two Mole Oaxaqueño (award-winning, rich, a little heat) and one Mole Manchamanteles (chef’s smoky, spicy signature). Both were excellent. They even gave me free chips so I could sample four different moles. Who does that anymore? Love it. The place is small , maybe six tables inside and a couple outside, but they pack serious flavor into that little space. Parking’s shared with a liquor store (only a few spots), so you might need to park on a nearby street. Still worth it. Honestly, might be my favorite mole spot in the LA area. If it were closer to LB/Carson, I’d probably be here way too often… and not just for the mole ."
"Green chicken enchiladas. Mole ( chicken ) poblano. Mole ( chicken ) coloradito. Myself, mom, and pop. We enjoyed the flavorful dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant."
"Food is excellent. I’m not a mole connoisseur but this mole is so good. It’s a very a small restaurant. So you might have to wait during certain days and times. If you’re looking for something that tastes different. This is the place."
"Wow, Awesome moles!!! Must try if in the area. Was my lunch stop while riding the Rio Hondo River Trail. What a find…"
